If you want to convert your vehicle’s traditional halogen headlights to HID (High Intensity Discharge) conversion kits, very first know about the two types of kit options, i.e. Single Beam and Double Beam kits available on the market, and then decide which option would best meet your requirement. Here is what you need to do in order to select between the two options.
Consider Your Budget
Before installing a new hid conversion kit on your vehicle, you obviously have to take your budget into strong consideration. Depending on how much you can actually spend on the installation or conversion you would go for a kit. Currently, there are two types of kits available on the market, i.e. Single Beam and Double Beam. Single Beam kits like Xenon and McCulloch kits are relatively new and of better quality than your conventional halogen light lamps, and hence cost lower. On the other hand, Double Beam kits are the latest, and cost higher. Therefore, you need to decide which suits you most. If yours is an old car, you could choose the cheaper lights, but go for more expensive Double Beam kits if it’s a brand new vehicle.
Consider the Area You Drive Most
If you are driving in the city area most of the time where light is sufficient, you may not need to install expensive Double Beam kits on your car. However, in rural areas you must need your car to have stronger lights, so Double Beam hid fog light are the ideal option.
Take Safety into Account
If there are lots of on-road safety issues out there in your area such as frequent accidents, dear jumping over the vehicle etc, you should go for the Dual Beam option rather than Single Beam lights.
